As much as you feel that the world of communication and imagery is something very innate to you, almost genetic, it is equally true that training and experience are essential to develop your skills and abilities in your professional career.
And I must admit that I have always tried to absorb the lessons of the best professionals with whom I have learned and collaborated, both in my Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication at the University of Seville and in other specific courses on editing and post-production more closely related to the practical sense of this profession.
They say I’m a jack-of-all-trades in the field of imagery, and it may be true. At least I have been, as I have worked as a director of photography on several documentaries, but I also devoted myself to the production of television programs in Spain and Portugal, and, above all, to sports broadcasts of football covering the Spanish and Portuguese professional leagues, the Champions League and the Europa League, the Eurocup in Ukraine-Poland (2012), the World Cup in Russia (2018), and that historic World Cup in South Africa that Spain won in 2010. I still remember how I held my breath in front of that header from Puyol, aimed at my camera position, which qualified us against Germany in the semifinals.
Concert production and television broadcasts of institutional events have also been part of my career, although for some time now, what really seduces me are weddings.
